Very cute atmosphere! The service was a bit slow. I wish our waiter would have checked on us to refill drinks while waiting on food. The restaurant website requests you keep your visit to an hour which would be reasonable if the food was quicker to come out. Food was delicious. I did a build your own omelette with cheese grits and biscuit. The biscuit is the best I've ever had! We'll be back to try out the other menu items and hopefully service will be a little quicker.
Listen, the food was delicious. Seasoned to perfection! Wait staff was very attentive. However, the lack of cleanliness and no serving of alcohol was disappointing. Overall, I recommend.
Took a while to get the order in, but the waffles and fried chicken wings were well worth the wait!
I got the fish sandwich this time. It was really good but the filet was on the thin side. I wish it could have been more thicker/meater. I would order this again. The fresh homemade fries were delicious with just a little salt added on top. I like how they didn't add the salt. I was able to season it to my liking.
This place is amazing! You walk in and they've got it decorated like its in the bayou somewhere, it isn't a very large dining room so if you aren't early expect to wait - we showed up around 11 and had to wait an hour. I ordered the Roxborough Omelette and a BBQ Cajun Smoked Turkey Leg, but they came back and said they had run out of the Turkey Legs, so I decided to split the Southern Cobbler French Toast with my friend instead. Everything I tasted was outstanding and everyone said their dishes were delicious. This is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot if you want to get stuffed on southern comfort food. Yum!!
Came by here for brunch on a Weekend when my friends and I were in town this past summer. There was a bit of a wait and they don't take reservations, so we waited about 30 minutes or so to get seated. The interior of the restaurant is pretty cute, and we ended up sitting at the "porch", which we liked. We ended up sharing an order of their Southern Cobbler French toast, which was topped with peaches. I got their biscuit, eggs, and meat (gave the meat choice to one of my friends instead) along with a side of sauteed greens. We thought the French toast was delicious and I quite liked my biscuit and eggs, but I thought the teriyaki sauce for the greens was unnecessary. Would want to check out the other dishes from here and if you're willing to wait a bit, then I'd recommend you come by here as well.
